The club joined in the party in 1996 and has helped riders find the best places to ride in our area. The easy of publishing on the web however has a downside as some riders now maintain sites posting routes that do not follow legitimate routes and often the promotion increases their use undermining the continued development of quality bike routes in the area. We are hearing unauthorised riding in the Alvie Estate in the Cairngorms is not only stopping the racing there but also holding up trail development and local riders are pleading to all those doing it to back off for a bit. If you are looking to find new places to ride we are updating our links page to give the details of web sites where legitimate and good rides can be found to help simplify your planning that great weekend giving local contacts so you can be steered to the best routes Don't forget to check out the latest racing news there is a lot going on in 2005.... don't miss it, all details of our events will be posted as soon as we can, latest results for Clocaenog TrailQuest check our RacingZone pages - Coed Llandegla WCU National XC championships. Copyright of the material available on this site.. Always a sticky issue we want our site to be uncomplicated to use with useful information. We recently encountered some of our material in use elsewhere and appearing to be the work of others. The basic rule is everything here is "copyright of NWMBA" and it's use is controlled by us unless associated information says otherwise. We want to be flexible and are happy if local businesses, wishing to promote local mountain biking opportunities on their own web site, use our material. Before doing so you must submit a written request (email will do) indicating the purpose of your site and how you intend to use our resources. Usually we will agree, all we require is a statement alongside the images or material indicating that it was provided by NWMBA and a link to our site is provided. In most cases we do not charge for the use however donations to the club are welcome which will be put towards event prizes. We will almost certainly not allow any of our material to be used in any way which we feel is not condusive with promoting the interests or image of Mountain Biking , NWMBA or North Wales. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
