History of Wales
Wales has been very remote and inaccesible for many years due to the poor condition of it's roads. Until the mid 1800's it was common for most travel from the west coast of Wales to be done via the ports on the coast rather than travel across Wales to England. Below is a selection of books which chronicle the history of the tracks of Wales or act as a guide to find the oldest remaining ones many of which remain unsurfaced and ideal for mountain bikes. click on images or links to buy securely online from Amazon.co.uk
